Submit Artwork to Art 4 Bitcoin – Guidelines – Updated November 2022
Submit artwork to Art 4 Bitcoin. It’s Chris Schillinger – owner of Art 4 Bitcoin. I am in the process of updating submission guidelines to give this website a more robust presence on the internet. It’s all about search engine traffic and this is why my rules are becoming more rigorous.
Pictures of your artwork
You need to upload 5 – 10 pictures of your artwork in JPEG format. Aim for a height of 1200px. The DPI of the pictures is up to you – 72 dpi will suffice. For more about DPI I suggest reading an article by Dara Skolnick: “What DPI do web images need to be? (Spoiler alert: it doesn’t matter)”
You need to provide a nice biography about yourself. Shoot for 1000 words and 2 or 3 paragraphs. This works best for Search Engine Optimization and will ultimately result in more internet traffic from search engines.
Categories Skills and Tags
Categories, Skills and Tags are used to help organize searches within this website as well as obtaining more precise search engine traffic. A category should focus on your media like “acrylic on canvas”, “oil on board”, “mixed media” etc. Skills should focus on what it is your work represents like “abstract” or “realism”. Tags for now will be your name. Suggestions for Categories, Skills and Tags are welcome.
Your website or other internet presence
Ultimately, I’d like you to have a website. However, a link to a social media account or another website featuring your work like Saatchi Art is acceptable. If you’d like to get a domain name and website, then I’d love to “upsell” you to one of my other projects! That is Red 9 Hosting. Get a domain name and hosting at a competitive price all using a combination of GoDaddy’s back end coupled with Wild West domains; all in one easy to use package – Red 9 Hosting.
Link Back to Art 4 Bitcoin
If I do list you, it would be super awesome if you could link back to Art 4 Bitcoin. Either a text link or banner link will do – I have a few Art 4 Bitcoin Banners on this page if you’re so inclined. A link back is not mandatory… just appreciated.
Please use the form to the left for submissions. You can also use it to simply contact me with any questions or suggestions you have.
